Chabad of Hilo is excited to now offer an at cost service for delivery of kosher products from WesternKosher.com to Hilo, Hawaii.
This initiative was made possible with the help of Chabad of Kona and West Hawaii
The shipments will be placed every 2-3 months, and orders will be picked up from 729 Hinano Street, Hilo HI.
Our next shipment of kosher food from Westernkosher.com to Hilo is going out on Thursday 8/22/24. Please place your order as soon as possible, but no later than Tuesday, 8/20/24 to give them time to get your order ready. The order should arrive in Hilo – with G‑d’s help - by Monday 9/2/24.
To place your order:
1) Please visit www.westernkosher.com and select Western Kosher Pico
2) Enjoy shopping with pictures, prices, and a search feature! Add items to your cart.
3) After adding the first item to your cart, log in or create an account, & Continue shopping.
4) The order ships frozen to Hawaii, so please don't add anything that cannot freeze - No Glass
5) Minimum order amount is $75.00. Please contact us if you would like to make a smaller order, and we can add it to ours.
6) When you're ready to check out, click on the shopping cart icon, and select checkout at the bottom.
7) Select 'pickup locations' (do not choose 'delivery'). Click on the line to select a pickup address and choose 'Hawaii Big Island 75-353 Nani Kailua Dr. Kailua Kona, HI 96740' from the dropdown menu. You should not be manually typing in a delivery address.
8) Complete the checkout process with payment and any additional information or instructions.
8) Western Kosher does not handle or charge for delivery. Hence they will write at checkout that it will be picked up on Thursday 8/22/24 when they pack it up. We hire a third party to pick it up and deliver it to the port, from where it sails out to Kona. Chabad of Hilo will arrange for it to be picked up from Kona and delivered to Hilo for no extra charge
9) The cost for delivery from Los Angeles to Kona is $1.25 per LB. Delivery fees are calculated and due upon pickup.
10) Orders will need to be picked up from 729 Hinano Street.
